What data do we collect?

Tybalt collects the following data:

• Guild Member ID of discord members
• Current and Former names and nicknames of discord members
• Message timings for specific discord members

We do not collect any other form of personal or identifying information.

How will we use your data?

Tybalt collects your data so that we can:

• Guild Member ID of discord members
• Provide some bot features that require them
• Help with discord moderation by keeping track of specific data.

How do we store your data?

Tybalt securely stores your data on a dedicated server in a data center in Roubaix, France. The server is entirely managed by us and the data is not accessible by the hosting provider itself.

Some of the data Tybalt collects through discord is also reposted on discord in private channels only accessible by the moderation team.

Third Party sharing and Marketing

We do not share any of the collected data with third party organisations nor do we use them for any marketing purposes.

LLMs and AI Training

We do not make use of any of the collected data to train, enhance or interact with LLM or any other form of generative or agentic AI.

What are your data protection rights?

The right to access – You have the right to request Tybalt for copies of your personal data.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Tybalt corrects any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Tybalt to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Tybalt erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Tybalt restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Tybalt’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Tybalt transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

How do we use cookies?

The Tybalt website does not currently use cookies or other forms of trackers.

Tybalt Permission System

Tybalt's permission system handles determining if a member is allowed to call on or execute specific features provided by the bot. For the most part, the permissions rules use Discord's Roles system, and as the result doesn't store user data.

However, it is possible to specify rules that target a specific user. If you are the target of such a specific rule, your Discord Member ID will be stored as long as the rule exists.

Advertisement Channel System

The unofficial Guild Wars 2 discord provides two channels dedicated to Guild Advertisement.

In order to monitor and enforce the rules of those channels, the ads system keeps track of all members posting on those channels.

If you post a guild advertisement, your Discord Member ID as well as the date of your last advertisement message will be stored for an indefinite duration.

Custom Commands

The unofficial Guild Wars 2 discord provides its members with the ability to write custom bot commands that can be then reused by any other member.

If you write a custom command, the content of this command is stored until the command is deleted, and may be reposted at any point in the future. Your Discord Member ID and your name or nickname at date of the writing is also stored for moderation purposes, but not shared beyond that.

Message Deletion Audit Log

In order to help with moderation, messages that are deleted within a few minutes of being posted are automatically reposted in a dedicated private channel available to the moderation staff. This helps with acting on disruptive behaviors that are hard to normally track.

If you quickly delete a message you wrote, or a message you write is quickly deleted by moderation, its content will be collected and privately stored in order to help with further moderation.

Userinfo command

The Userinfo command displays some basic data about yourself or another member of the discord server. Most of this data is pulled directly from the discord api and not stored by us.

However, the bot keeps track of name and nickname changes and displays them in said command.

If you change your name or nickname on the discord server, your old names or nicknames will be stored and displayed whenever someone uses the userinfo command on you.
